Journal for Thursday:

Choose a topic to write about for today.  Be thoughtful as you write.  Pay attention to neatness, sentence structure and punctuation.

 Describe the perfect day.  Put in as many details as you can.  Make it a possible day, not a "dream day."

What is the best book you have ever read?  Why did you like it?  Did reading the book change you in any way?  What way?

If you could be a character in any book that you have read, who would it be and why?  What traits about that character do you admire the most?

4.

Imagine you are a character from one of your favorite books.  Who would it be? Describe an average day you would have.  Write it in the voice of the person you are imagining to be.

5.

Write about a favorite Christmas season memory from your childhood.  Write all the details you remember in a narrative form.  Tell why it is such a special memory.
